The company serves 250 cities in 40 countries with approximately 3,400 daily flights. As of December 31, 2008, AMR Corporation owned and leased aircrafts in operation included 626 American Airlines Aircrafts and 266 AMR Eagle Aircrafts. The company was founded in 1934 and is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. |
